  • Start of operation: 2021

The “Målarberget” wind farm is located in Avesta and Norberg municipality in the county of Västmanland, 150 kilometers north-west of Stockholm. The wind farm is located in a forest area owned by Sveaskog and a few private land owners. Construction of the windfarm began in the middle of 2019 and has been operating since summer 2021. “Målarberget” consists of 27 Vestas turbines with 4.2 MW each and a total height of 200m.

The project was developed by WKN’s Swedish subsidiary VKS Vindkraft Sverige AB, which also was responsible for the constructions of the wind farm on behalf of the buyer. The owner of the wind farm is the Israeli company Enlight Renewable Energy, an international company with focus on renewable energy.

Moreover, the WKN Group will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of the wind farm during its operating time.
