The "Hultema" wind farm is located in the municipality of Motala, Östergötland county in the southern part of Sweden. The wind farm area in Hultema is designated as national interest for wind energy and located in a forest area that is mainly actively managed by the modern Swedish forest industry.
The wind farm was developed by the Swedish subsidiary VKS Vindkraft Sverige AB. The environmental permit was given for 16 turbines, of which 11 turbines now are in the process of being built. Each turbine will be 186m total height and an effect of 6,6 MW.
WKN/VKS is responsible for the construction of the wind farm, which started in 2021 and will be completed in the mid of 2023. Svevia are responsible for the constructing of the roads, crane areas and foundations. The turbines will be delivered and assembled by Siemens Gamesa.
