Another wind farm project in Poland sold

Cuxhaven, April 23, 2019 – PNE Group achieved quick operative successes in Poland: In November 2018, two of the wind farm projects developed by the PNE Group were awarded a contract in tenders for wind energy projects in Poland. Both projects have now been sold. After the sale of the "Barwice" wind farm (42 MW) at the end of 2018, the PNE Group has now also sold the "Jasna" wind farm (132 MW), which is ready for construction. The purchasers are Stadtwerke München.

Once completed, the "Jasna" wind farm will be one of Poland's largest onshore wind farms. The wind farm is located at a windy site in the north of Poland and was developed by WKN and its polish subsidiary Sevivon – both companies of PNE Group. 39 wind power turbines can be erected in the "Jasna" wind farm. Construction is scheduled to begin soon. Companies of the PNE Group will be involved in the construction phase and will provide technical services to the owner after commissioning of the wind farm. The completion of the "Jasna" wind farm is scheduled for 2020.

Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE: "I am very happy about this second quick success in Poland. This is once more a quick project realisation after we won the tender. We are now looking forward to the further successful collaboration with Stadtwerke München in this big project".

Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
