WKN sells 25.2 megawatts Swedish wind project

Husum, 29 september 2017 - WKN AG, a leading developer of wind energy farms based in Husum, Germany, sold the Swedish wind project Laxaskogen to a German private investment group at the end of September.

The wind farm will be built in the South of Sweden. Laxaskogen is located in a forest area continuously used for modern Swedish forest industry. The area is already well equipped with roads constructed and used by forest machines and transportations. Construction is expected to be completed within the first quarter 2019. Total installed capacity for the Laxaskogen wind farm will be 25.2 megawatts. The wind farm will consist of 7 turbines each with a capacity of 3.6 megawatts. WKN will be responsible for the construction of the project which has been developed by the Swedish WKN-cooperation VKS Vindkraft Sverige AB.
